Went to a ridicuously cool event last night... Thanks Vanity Fair!!
A couple months ago, I joined something called the "A-list" from Vanity Fair ... It said their might be panels, and events and stuff.
A couple weeks ago, I got an invitiation to see a Film Foundation "Conversation" with Robert Altman (director Short Cuts, the Player, MASH, Nashville ....) and Buck Henry (Writer -- The Graduate, Catch-22 .....) ...
So the lecture/conversation was awesome and then I went to the after-party at the Le Parker Meriden penthouse on the 43rd floor.... The view of Central Park was ridicously beautiful (I need to get the pics from Ninanna) and there was free wine, and Hynotiq (sponsors) .... I even got to talk briefly with Mr. Altman and Mr. Henry .... Even free orders like Sushi ...
Pretty damn awesome event for nothing ... I kept thinking the cool police were going to catch me... ...
